Suspension

Hi all
I made a new drive system to my V43. Previous also was ok but i would like to add some 'suspension' which help to loco smooth running.

I changed the motors as well (same power as before) but more quiet.

The total suspension height is approx. 1,5mm-2mm

Please look the pictures and two short video about how is working.

Best regards

Ákos

Hi Jacek

Not really. I just used different type of solutions to let the axles separate movements.
Like this case:

But this is not active suspension actually. (mean springs..)

Could you please show me your solutions? Im really interested in about any solutions.

Thanks

Best regards

Hi Jacek

Never mind i ve already found your blog and i saw your professional solutions!

I need to grow up that level but i think i will never use metal as a basic that is why i need to find always 'alternative' solutions.

Hi Akos,
Thanks for nice words. :-) I think for boggies metal is a nice solution.
You could find pictures of my projects in Google or on FB.

Garden fun

Hi Akos,
To be honest, I was not so interested in the Kind of model you announced because it is far away from my personal interests, but today with your picture from the Garden I was getting curious...
AMAZING!
And, moreover, by scanning your posts, is it so that you are using Finescale Wheel design? And all the details cut into Full material by CNC milling? Really astonishing!
A failure not to follow up to now...
I‘m really impressed.
Best wishes and good continuation!

Hi Martin, Erik

Thanks the kind worlds!

Im working with CNC mostly, and the material is styrene/plastic.

Actually Im using NEM profil with 1,3mm 'spurkranz'. I need to use wider wheels than finescale because the truck gauge sometimes not perfect outside in the garden.
Based on my experience 1,3mm spurkranz is more than enough if i can apply some 'suspention' even the track not so smooth..
Please see my solution to 'suspention' on my latest project ( M41 loco Ganz made) :
